I love good design, and will be the first to admit that I easily piqued by clever packaging, especially when it’s akin to what Alice experienced just before she fully stumbled into Wonderland. “. . . And round the neck of the bottle was a paper label, with the words `DRINK ME’ beautifully printed on it in large letters.” That’s how I felt when I stumbled across an Instagram post with an image of a beautiful bottle with Doladira inscribed across it in vintage typeface. I was ready to take a sip.

The corrugated swirl, the ruby red color, and the vintage letter, Doladira had me at the bottle, but as I was to find out from my first sip, Doladira’s allure is not simply its captivating design but the its incredible origin story by creator Meredith Erickson.
In this episode, join me as I fangirl Doladira and Meredith on design, typeface and cocktails, of course. Meredith shares her journey from falling in love with the Alps and writing about Alpine cuisine to creating an Alpine-focus spirt. We also discuss Doladira’s ingenious advertising campaign.
